Comédien français.
Il entame des études de médecine avant de se former à l'Ecole de la Rue Blanche et au Conservatoire national de Paris, où son professeur est Antoine Vitez.
Il est engagé à la Comédie-Française le 1er juillet 1984 et en devient sociétaire le 1er janvier 1990.
